What TendingDaily does with your information.
Plain-language version: we collect the minimum needed to build your liturgy and run the business side, we delete build content automatically, and we don't sell anything.
What's collected
- What you type into a build — occasion details, readings choices, and any custom text you add, including names if you're building a memorial or milestone piece. This is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the draft content.
- A cover photo, if you upload one — you confirm you have rights to use it before it's attached.
- Your email, only if you choose to sign in — used for magic-link sign-in and, for institutional accounts, license administration.
- Payment details, if you subscribe — handled entirely by Stripe. TendingDaily never sees or stores your card number.
If you use the app without signing in, no email or identity is attached to what you build at all.
How long it's kept
- Build content (the data behind your booklet or slide deck, and the rendered file itself) is automatically deleted 24 hours after creation.
- An uploaded cover photo is deleted the moment your build finishes rendering — it's never kept past that point.
- If you have an account, your email and build count are kept for as long as the account exists, so free-tier and license limits work correctly.
Who else sees it
A few outside services do specific jobs and only ever see what that job requires:
- Anthropic — generates your draft content from what you typed in. Subject to their own data handling terms.
- Supabase — hosts sign-in (magic links) and the database behind accounts and institutional licenses.
- Stripe — processes subscriptions and institutional billing. Card details go directly to Stripe, not through TendingDaily.
- Google Translate — used for non-English occasion content.
None of these are used to sell your data or show you ads. TendingDaily doesn't run ads.
Scripture, and content you can't edit
Scripture text in a build is locked and can't be edited — it's sourced directly, not generated, so it stays accurate. Everything else — prayers, structure, custom text — is yours to review and change before you finalize.
Analytics
This marketing site (tendingdaily.org) uses Google Analytics to see which pages get read. The app itself (app.tendingdaily.org) — where you actually build something — doesn't run any analytics tracking.
